Thanks for the info Dr. Hsu.

Any thoughts on whether or not traditional herbal medications may be good options for those who have resistance to certain antibiotics?

Traditional Asian herbal medicine is not foreign to the body. In fact, they are natural substances that the body can recognize and process. The Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing is one of the oldest compilations of herbal medicines and is about 3000 years old. Western pharmaceuticals are a few decades old. And as for acetaminophen, well, scientists still aren't sure exactly how it works.

blind faith it is not. Asian medicines are generally better. People only take western medicine because it WESTERN, hell alot of them dont even work. They just have to make it sound scientific. Western medicine is too young probably around a thousand years. Chinese traditional medicine has been around for like 10 thousand years. Alot of research and trial and error. I have no doubt it would asian traditional medicines that will cure cancer. Not some scientific pill with a list of side effects. Hell. The chinese found a cure for small pox b4 it becvame an epidemic in Europe.

I just prefer to not ask what's in it, but generally - I accept Asian remedies with blind faith these days

The beauty of these random Eastern medications is that it's foreign to your body, so there's always that likelihood of it miraculously curing your symptoms.

Unlike the Tylenol's, the Advil's, Nyquil, etc... which is commonly taken (like candy) right when there's the slightest thing coming on.
