I stumbled across this very interesting diagram illustrating the racial breakdown of professional sports organizations in the US. The diagram includes the breakdown for Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Soccer (MLS), and the National Football League (NFL).
Here’s the breakdown,
Baseball (MLB) Racial Breakdown:
- White: 60%
- Hispanic: 29%
- Black: 8%
- Asian: 3%
Football (NFL) Racial Breakdown:
- Black: 66%
- White: 31%
- Asian: 2%
- Hispanic: 1%
Basketball (NBA) Racial Breakdown:
- Black: 76%
- White: 20%
- Hispanic: 3%
- Asian: 1%
Soccer (MLS) Racial Breakdown:
- White: 59%
- Black: 22%
- Hispanic: 14%
- Asian: 1%
Hockey, through the National Hockey League (NHL), wasn’t included. But I’ll safely venture a guess the NHL is over 95% white.

Hi RB,
It’s just a cool chart I stumbled upon and wanted to share with the community. We all moreorless know the racial breakdown of each professional sport, I just put it up for those who like to look at exact numbers.

Wow there’s actually more asian’s in the NFL than Hispanics? I better tell my friend Garret… lol.
For some of us, life would be complete if we could watch an NFL game every day of the week. However, this would cause a world of logistical problems, with exhaustion and injuries becoming major issues for the players.
There is no way in hell there are twenty percent of white people playing basketball unless your counting the females they screwing
